Hello,

My name is Chris Kenney and I am a piano technician based in Chicago. I began my journey as a technician in 2024, apprenticing under several local technicians. Since then, I have tuned hundreds of pianos and learned A LOT about how pianos of all shapes and sizes work. With that knowledge, I aim to give clients stable tunings and help make their pianos play like new again.

Outside of technician work, I am both a music educator and performer in the Chicagoland area. In 2020, I received a B.M. in Percussion Performance from Northern Illinois University. I have taught everything from marching percussion to drum set, guitar, bass, and piano. I frequently gig on drum set, playing with groups such as Chicago-based calypso fusion group Callaloo and funk/pop singer Zeno Camera. I pride myself on being a versatile musician and draw upon that knowledge in my tuning business.
